LXC Polycarbonate is manufactured by Shanghai Lixingcheng Board Co., Ltd., founded in 1998 with a clear mission: to make high-quality polycarbonate sheets accessible to architects, builders, and designers worldwide. What began as a focused extrusion operation has grown into one of the region’s most trusted polycarbonate manufacturers.

Our Manufacturing Process
From raw polycarbonate resin to finished sheet, every step is controlled in-house.
1. Material Selection
We source virgin polycarbonate resin from certified suppliers, testing each batch for molecular weight, moisture content, and optical clarity before it enters production.
2. Extrusion & Forming
Precise temperature-controlled extrusion shapes the molten resin into solid, multiwall, or profiled sheets. Real-time monitoring ensures consistent thickness and surface finish across the full production run.
3. UV Coating
A co-extruded UV-protective layer is applied to the exterior face during the extrusion process, bonding at the molecular level for permanent UV resistance that does not peel or degrade.
4. Quality Inspection
Every sheet undergoes visual inspection, optical measurement, and dimensional verification. We test for light transmission, impact resistance, and thermal stability per ISO and EN standards.
5. Cutting & Packaging
Sheets are precision-cut to customer specifications, edge-sealed where required, and packaged in protective PE film with corner guards. Custom sizes and colors are produced on 3-week lead times.
6. Global Dispatch
Finished orders are containerized and shipped via sea, rail, or air freight. Our logistics team handles customs documentation and provides tracking from dispatch to delivery.
